Dr. ​Connor Godwin, O.D.

​Dr. Connor Godwin is a proud alumnus of Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2021 before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2025. During his training, Dr. Godwin completed an extensive internship at the UAB School of Optometry, gaining experience in primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatric optometry. He further expanded his clinical skills through externships at a private practice and the Tuscaloosa V.A. Hospital, where he treated a diverse patient population with a range of visual needs. Upon graduation, Dr. Godwin received the Faculty Spotlight Award which is awarded to a student that exemplified excellence in clinical practice, leadership in learning, and significant impact on the future of optometric care.

Dr. Godwin enjoys spending quality time with his wife Morgan and their dog Charlie, playing golf, attending church, and cheering on Auburn athletics. He values building strong relationships with his patients and believes in delivering compassionate, patient-focused care tailored to each individual’s lifestyle and visual goals.
